The Victorian Trauma Grand Round is a collaborative initiative to provide a forum for healthcare professionals involved in acute trauma care in Victoria to explore and debate all aspects of trauma management. The program will promote collaborative efforts and networking among members of the trauma community and showcase the expertise and available resources in trauma care in Victoria.

Each quarter a grand round event will be hosted by a major Victorian trauma care provider. These events are open to all healthcare professionals.

The event will be hosted by Ambulance Victoria at The Royal Children’s Hospital with a focus on Adult Retrieval Victoria and their vital part in the Victorian State Trauma System. A case study – The Rural Multi-trauma Patient

Seating

There are 250 seats available in Ella Latham Auditorium. Once these seats are filled additional attendees will be seated in in the Vernon Collins Lecture Theatre (just around the corner from Ella Latham Auditorium) with a live video feed. Note that seating will be allocated on a first come, first served basis on the night, so you are advised to be early.

The Ambulance Victoria VTGR event is accredited by:

  • Participants in the ACEM CPD program may claim 2 CPD hours under the CPD Group Learning heading.

  • Participants in the ACRRM CPD program may claim 2 PDP Core Points (more info)

  • Participant in the CICM CPD program may claim 1 point per hour (2 points) - Category 2A - Lectures

CME/CPD can be obtained through other colleges and institutions by sending through your certificate of attendance post event:
